Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania will participate in the NATO ministerial meeting, to be held in Brussels on February 26-27.
The ministerial meeting will be opened by NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend on Feb. 25.
The main topics of the ministerial meeting are cybersecurity, strengthening of defense capabilities and the mission in Afghanistan.
A meeting of defense ministers of NATO member-states and its partners-non NATO members, taking part in Afghanistan`s mission will be held after the ministerial meeting on the second day.
Alasania will hold bilateral meetings with colleagues from Azerbaijan, Norway and Afghanistan as part of the NATO ministerial meeting.
