Azerbaijani realities  demonstrated in the U.S. Congress in Washington
Photo-posters, artifacts depicting the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, historical maps and artifacts destroyed during the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict has been demonstrated in the U.S. Congress in Washington during the cultural program "Journey to the Azerbaijani culture".

The event, which was attended by members of diplomatic missions in Washington, Congress and think tanks of the U.S. capital, as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Jewish communities of the United States, was organized by the "Karabakh" Foundation with the support of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan Republic.

Speaking at the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the U.S. Elin Suleymanov noted the important role of the Azerbaijani leadership in the implementation of projects aimed at preserving the cultural heritage and the promotion of intercultural dialogue. He said thatAzerbaijanis a cultural bridge betweenEuropeand West and the country is making a significant contribution to the development of intercultural dialogue. He also said thatAzerbaijanis not only known for its natural resources, but also famous for its diversity of cultures.

Speaking at the event Asian Cultural History Program. Director Paul Michael Taylor said that he was pleased to present the Azerbaijani culture. I "I am particularly pleased when I talk about artifacts. The artifacts are part of the people. They say what the representatives of the this people produce, how they think, what they feel. The need for the representation of the people`s culture through their artifacts prompted us to initiate this project, "he underscored.
