The authors of the article, including MPs Mark Hauptmann, Eberhard Gienger and Andre Hahn, condemned the Bundestag`s anti-Azerbaijani resolution which was passed on the eve of the European Games.
They described the adoption of such a resolution on human rights in Azerbaijan several hours before the inaugural European Games as “disappointment”.
The MPs said the Bundestag would better applaud Azerbaijan`s efforts towards European integration rather than adopting a resolution against the country, which they noted, harmed the bilateral relations.
