GDP grows 1.6% in Azerbaijan
In January-February, GDP increased 1.6% to reach 8.5bn AZN from January-February 2013.
Some 50% of additional value was created in industry, 8.8% in construction, 11.6% - trade and paid services, 6.3% - transport, 1.9% - communication enterprises, 2.5% - agriculture and 11.9% in other areas, Gun.Az reports quoting State Statistical Committee as saying.

Per capita additional value worth 903 AZN ($1151 USD) was produced which marks a rise of 0.3% from the same period of last year.

Around 53.9% of additional value was produced in non-oil sector and increased by 8.8% from January-February 2013 while additional value in non-oil sector grew by 5.7%.
