The meeting also focused on fulfillment of the obligations arising from the Framework Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment of the Caspian Sea, and the steps taken towards the deployment of its permanent secretariat in Baku.
The sides also discussed the activities of the secretariat, UNEP participation in these issues and the organization of the 6th conference of the Parties to the Framework Convention in Baku.
