The foundation of the Complex – with a productivity of 6.6 cubic meters per second or 570,000 cubic meters per 24 hours – was laid by President Ilham Aliyev on September 8, 2011.
The Jeyranbatan Water Purification Ultrafiltration Complex and the Jeyranbatan-Zira water pipeline project, including the Pirallahi village, will provide regular and high-quality drinking water to other residential areas of Baku city and the Absheron Peninsula.
The head of state launched the complex and made a speech at the opening ceremony.
