Sumbal noted that Azerbaijan is already a developed country and the metropolitan multicultural lifestyle of Baku proves that.
Pakistani expert said the life standard in Azerbaijan has improved in the last couple of years, and this is the outcome of democracy in the country.
“Azerbaijan’s democratic setup is a role model to the neighboring countries in the Caucasus, because I can see the rule of law and the strength of the institutions,” he said.
The country is also a role model in terms of the peace building across the region and globally because this accords with the true vision of Azerbaijan’s National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the expert said.
He pointed out the interest of the Azerbaijani youth in this election, adding that the youth organizations are working hard to be represented at the highest level.
The expert expressed confidence that free and fair election will be held in Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan will hold parliamentary election Nov.1, with participation of 769 candidates.
As many as 465 observers from 36 international structures have been accredited in the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan for observing the parliamentary election. In total, the missions representing 53 countries will observe the election.
