Central Asia, Georgia to send observers for parliamentary election
Two representatives of Kyrgyzstan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) and parliament, as well as observers in the international mission of TURKPA and Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states will participate in the election.
From Tajikistan, the election will be observed by five people, including the CEC representatives, as well as MPs as part of the international mission of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
From Turkmenistan, CEC representatives are expected to arrive in Baku for observing the election.
Uzbekistan’s representatives will observe the parliamentary election as part of the CIS mission, while the observers from Georgia will participate in this process as part of the GUAM mission.
Azerbaijan will hold parliamentary election Nov.1, with participation of 769 candidates. As many as 465 observers from 36 international structures have been accredited in the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan for observing the parliamentary election. In total, the missions representing 53 countries will observe the election.
