"Azerbaijan is interested in developing relations with Egypt in all fields."
President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Egypt in our country Suzanna Mohamed Gamil.
During the meeting the head of state noted the recent intensification of ties between the two countries, called for the identification of priority areas.
Ilham Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan is ready to cooperate with Egypt in all fields, and pointed to the great potential in the field of energy and security. The President also noted the importance of cooperation between the two countries within international organizations.
Gamil conveyed the greetings of of her country`s president Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. The diplomat stressed that Egypt fundamentally supports Azerbaijan in the conflict with Armenia.
