Interior Ministry to ensure security on election day
Measures to ensure security of all voters, local and international observes on election day have been taken in Azerbaijan, the representative of the Interior Ministry, police colonel Ehsan Zahidov told Secki-2015.az, AzVision.az reports.
The Interior Ministry representative said that on the day of elections policemen will get to polling stations only in a special uniform:
"They will have to quit the polling stations after having completed the observation of the public order.

According to Zahidov, the main task of the interior bodies is the control over public order, prevention of cases of pressure on voters and illegalactions. The police officers will also ensure security of transportation of ballot papers to the constituencies (before and after the election process) and to the Central Election Commission.

"The Interior Ministry will ensure security and stability in Azerbaijan on the election day."
