The observation mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) is on a visit to Baku to observe the parliamentary election scheduled for November 1, the Secki-2015.az website reported Oct. 30.
`The mission has already begun to hold meetings.
The observation mission met with members of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Oct. 30. The meeting was closed to the media.
The meetings are expected to be held with the civil society representatives, the heads of a number of media outlets and the chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov Oct. 31.
The PACE observation mission, consisting of 30 people, is headed by a Spanish MP.
