The role of the Russian orthodox church in the peaceful resolution of the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh can hardly be overestimated, the Caucasus Muslims Office sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade told during the meeting with the patriarch of Moscow and all-Russia Kirill.
"You are among the first who assist us in the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh problem. I have a great hope for your role in the settlement of this issue and I believe that our joint efforts will produce effect in the future," the religious leader of Caucasian Muslims said.
