“Turkey and Azerbaijan are two fraternal countries that declared their independence consecutively for the first time in the East,” Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul told.
Vecdi Gonul said in the reception hosted by the president on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey that Turkey has always focused its attention on the issue of Azerbaijani lands’ still remaining under the Armenian occupation.
“Anyone who wants peace and tranquility in the Caucasus should understand that the first condition of it is unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from Azerbaijani lands. Turkey will further work to bring a just peace to the region. God willing, everything will be fine,” he said.
