Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov has called on press and social network users to be active in connection with parliamentary elections that kicked on Sunday.
During the press conference dedicated to the beginning of the elections, Panahov said that social networks and press play an important role in holding the elections transparently.
"I appeal especially to the users of social networks, so that they immediately cover every negative incident and misunderstanding they will face. Press also must be active in this matter. This will help our work,” the CEC chairman said.
