No flaws have been seen at polling stations in the Azerbaijani city of Ganja, Deputy Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Omer Kocaman, who is observing the elections in Ganja.
He noted that the observations started early this morning.

“We were pleased with the voters being well-informed and their active participation in the process. We saw observers representing political parties and those who had come with their own will. That is indicative of democratic elections taking place in Azerbaijan. Hope these elections result in good ending for the Azerbaijani people and contribute to the country’s prosperity. We did not see any flaw at the polling stations we observed. Turkey too is holding elections today. Hope “one nation, two states” – Turkey and Azerbaijan – come out strengthened from the elections,” he said.

Amantay Sharip, a member of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, said he arrived in Ganja a few days ago, adding that he along with his counterparts has observed the preparations for the election process in the city.

“We were pleased with the preparations for the elections. The preparation process corresponds to international standards. Necessary conditions have been created. We began observations early this morning. The voter turnout is on the rise, although it was low in the beginning. What’s important is that the elections are taking place normally. We have not seen any flaw so far,” said the observer.
