CEC says no violation of law in voting process
The voting process in Azerbaijan is going on in accordance with the law, no violation of law has been recorded so far, said Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission.

“A total of 5,547 polling stations opened on time,” he said, adding that as of 12:00AM the voter turnout reached 28.02 percent.

Panahov said there have been some unpleasant incidents.

“For instance, at the polling station №63 of Sabirabad constituency №1, an authorized representative of candidate Panah Huseyn snatched the ballots from the hands of two voters and run away. One of the candidates insulted female member of the PEC. Even if such cases were recorded they will not after the election results,” he said.

Panahov voted at the polling station No31 of Binagadi constituency No10.
