TurkPA mission satisfied with democratic election in Azerbaijan
The parliamentary election has been well-organized in Azerbaijan, Serikzhan Kanayev, the head of the TurkPA observation mission, the member of the Kazakh parliament, told on Nov. 1.
“The voters quietly come to the polling stations,” he said. “The voting process is democratic, free and transparent.”

"We met with Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission October 31,” he said. “He spoke about the preparation for the election. We have been convinced today that the election has been well organized."

While commenting on the refusal of some European organizations to send their representatives to Azerbaijan to observe the parliamentary election, the MP said that it is better to come and ascertain everything, rather than to give a deliberate evaluation.

The parliamentary election is being held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1.

Some 503 international observers from 40 organizations and over 66,000 local observers monitor the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan.

Some 767 candidates claim for 125 seats in the Azerbaijani parliament.
