Papanova noted that high voter turnout is observed in the current parliamentary election in Azerbaijan.
“Citizens show great interest in the election,” she said. “I talked to the local observers. They said they haven’t witnessed any violation of law or complaints from the voters.”
The CEC member said that the polling stations in Azerbaijan have been provided with modern equipment.
“As distinct from other countries, Azerbaijan has no noticeable domestic political discords,” said the observer from Kyrgyzstan.
The parliamentary election is being held in Azerbaijan Nov. 1.
Some 503 international observers from 40 organizations and over 66,000 local observers monitor the parliamentary election in Azerbaijan.
As many as 767 candidates claim for 125 seats in the Azerbaijani parliament.
