The death toll from the blaze looks likely to rise.
More than 140 people are being treated in hospital, and Romanian authorities say more than half of them are in severe or critical condition.
Witnesses have said fireworks set off inside the Colectiv Club caused the blaze.
“This is not the first event involving (indoor) fireworks and I know about two other incidents,” said a man taking part in the march.
“(There was) a concert in a similar deserted factory hall, where two people were injured over a year ago. And another time, three years ago, when a firework used on stage used on stage hit me in the face, almost burning my eyes and my hair.”
A criminal investigation has been launched by the General Prosecutor’s office.
