“During a meeting yesterday at 9:52 p.m. [19:52 GMT], the Prosecutor General and other employees at the meeting came under fire from a sniper, who fired three shots,” Matios said.
According to Matios, a criminal case has been opened on the suspicion of attempted assassination.
“Investigators are sure that the hit man and mastermind knew the layout and where the General Prosecutor would be. The shots were at an angle so as to hit the torso or head,” Matios added.
