Roaming rates with European countries to be cut until summer 2015
The Steering Committee on Preparation for the First European Games under the Ministry of Communications & High Technologies of Azerbaijan (RYTN) has held a regular meeting
.

The Ministry informs that the meeting conducted with participation of the Baku European Games Operating Committee (BEGOC) was aimed at attracting companies to service the Games and assisting sponsorship. Particular attention was paid to information and cyber security of the Games, registration of mobile devices of the participants.

At that, Communications & High-Tech Minister Ali Abbasov suggested to record the sides` obligations to the BEGOC by a relevant protocol of intentions, as well as extend the process of reducing tariffs on roaming, which goes between Azerbaijan and Russia, and other European countries.

The European Games will be held for the first time in 2015. The city of Baku was selected to host them.
