The meeting with Ray Mabus four years ago, the president Ilham Aliyev noted that today’s visit to Azerbaijan will create opportunity to discuss defense cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US. The head of state also said that Azerbaijani side does’nt deny its efforts for ensuring of regional stability. President Ilham Aliyev also noted that the regional situation changed during the past period.
Remembering his visit to our country, Ray Mabus underlined successful cooperation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with the International Peacekeeping Mission in Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan and noted significance of trainings, mutually exchange of experience and cooperation in military education.
