The German headquarters of IT giant Microsoft in the Munich area was evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb threat.
The German headquarters of IT giant Microsoft in the Munich area was evacuated on Tuesday after a bomb threat, local media reported.

According to Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Munich police received a telephone threat around 12:06 p.m. local time [11:06 GMT]. Some 1,800 employees left the building following the call.

Police have been alerted. A screening for the presence of explosives is underway.
