Ilham Aliyev awards UN official with "Tereqqi" medal

Ilham Aliyev awards UN official with "Tereqqi" medal

President of Azerbaijan received the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Antonius Broek in connection with completion of his diplomatic service in Azerbaijan, on November 11, AzVision.az reports.

Ilham Aliyev highly appreciated the activities of the Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan and awarded him with "Tereqqi" ("Progress") medal.

Referring to the cooperation between our country and the UN, the Head of State has expressed satisfaction with the level of the projects.

Thanking President of Azerbaijan for the high attention, diplomat wished prosperity to Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that relations between Azerbaijan and the United Nations will continue to develop.
