ICRC representatives visit Armenian citizen crossed to Azerbaijani side
Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited Armenian citizen Lusine Abovyan who had crossed to the Azerbaijani side of the contact line on Sunday.
The purpose of the visited was to learn the Armenian citizen’s detention conditions, Ilaha Huseynova, head of the Communication Department of the ICRC Baku Office.

Azerbaijani armed forces have detained a resident of the Shavarshavan village of Armenia’s Noyemberyan district, believed to be Lusine Gukasovna Abovyan (1942), as she violated the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border in the direction of Gazakh district on Sunday, the Defense Ministry told APA.

According the ministry, the detained Armenian citizen is being treated in accordance with the norms of international law.

She will soon be returned to the opposite side once relevant procedures are over.
