“We learn their needs and detention conditions. Issues under our authority get resolved,” she stressed.
Suleymanova noted that Arif Yunus has no complaint of his detention conditions.
“We have met with Leyla Yunus and Arif Yunus. I have met them two or three times personally. From him in particular, we have not received any complaint or appeal about his detention conditions. He has just asked for some newspapers and other issues have been solved,” said Suleymanova.
The ombudsperson added that today the UN Committee against Torture (CAT) is hearing the annual report of the Azerbaijani state.
