Azerbaijan, US in joint fight against terrorism, says ambassador
Azerbaijan and the US are jointly fighting against terrorism and have good cooperation in this field, US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta told reporters on Nov.17.

The US, France and other countries are working together in combating terrorism around the world, said the ambassador.

He went on to add that President Barack Obama held a meeting on combating violence and extremism as part of the UN General Assembly session in September.

Cekuta noted that the G20 summit in Antalya focused of the problem of terrorism, its reasons and joint anti-terrorist efforts.

“The use of military force and other means against terroris and prevention of people’s involvement in terrorism were thoroughly discussed at the summit,” he said.
