"All observers appreciated the election, but some people do not want to see this," he said.
Panahov said that people freely voted for the candidates.
“The electoral legislation of Azerbaijan meets the international standards,” he said. “The Electoral Code has been prepared with the participation of international experts and it is constantly being improved.”
Panahov said that the latest technologies, including webcams, were used to ensure the transparency.
As for some shortcomings during the election, Panahov said that some unpleasant incidents occur in all countries worldwide during the election.
"But the main thing is to adequately respond to them and eliminate them," he said.
He said that some people said that violations were observed during the election, but they can not provide specific facts.
"Therefore, their purposes are clear," Panahov said.
The parliamentary election was held in Azerbaijan November 1.
