Azerbaijan, EU to continue cooperating in development of securities market
Azerbaijan will continue cooperating with the EU in the development of the securities market, Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Securities Committee (SSC) Rufat Aslanli said at a press conference dedicated to the presentation of the implementation of the twinning project "Bringing Azerbaijan`s Legal Framework on Securities Market in line with EU Legislation and Institutional Development of the SSC" on May 21.
The project was implemented over 20 months together with the Polish Financial Control Agency and EU funds.

"The successful experience of implementing the SSC and the EU joint projects gives reason to believe that we will have such EU projects in the future," he said.

"The matter rests not only in the twinning projects," he said.
"The EU has a variety of tools necessary for the exchange of knowledge and experience," Aslanli added.

Head of the EU representative office in Azerbaijan Malena Mard announced her intention to continue cooperating with Azerbaijan in capital market development.
