He noted that AZAL pays special attention to waste management, recycling, efficient use of water resources, and other environmental projects: "This commitment is not limited to our current operations but is also aimed at ensuring sustainable development of the aviation sector in the future."
Rzayev also emphasized that this year AZAL joined the UN Global Compact, committing to promote Sustainable Development Goals and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) principles.
The company continues to strengthen its environmental responsibility through employee training, transparent reporting, and implementation of digital tools for more efficient resource use, added Rzayev, stating that AZAL aims to create a more sustainable and green future for coming generations.
