Press Council holds a round table
`Azerbaijani press always was sensitive to processes taking place in the country.`
`They demonstrated proficiency both in events in the front line and devaluation of manat recently. But unfortunately there were some unpleasant moments too`, Aflatun Amashov, the Chairman of the Press Council stated in the round table talks, on the topic of `Media and Responsibility: Current Situation and View into Perspective Duties` on November 20.

Some news portals create artificial agiotage.

In recent days, information spread about the Ministry of National Security and Ministry of Communication and High Technologies do not prove itself true, A.Amashov emphasized: `It is true that press should pay attention to processes taking place. But professional approach towards issue should be considered. Some mass media are professional as always. Ali Hasanov, Assistant to the Azerbaijani President for Public and Political Affairs stated his opinion regarding the issue.`

He mentioned unambiguously that legal prevention of disinformation in press is possible. But we want solution of this issue not by legal order but in media context.
