Some employees of the Ministry of National Security (MNS) have committed crimes and their actions are being legally assessed, First Deputy Minister of National Security, Lieutenant General Madat Guliyev said.
“Everyone needs to know that Azerbaijan is a legal country. The law is the highest; anyone having committed a crime should know that sooner or later his action will be given legal assessment and he will be held responsible for his crime,” he said.
The Azerbaijani people have always trusted the country’s ministry of national security and still do, according to Guliyev.
Guliyev noted that circulating media reports cannot refer to all MNS staff.
“99 percent of ministry employees work with pure honesty, standing on guard for state security,” he said.
