“There are criminals and terrorists in all cultures and in all societies. We can not attribute the crimes that carry by Buddhists to Buddhism or carry by Christians to Christianity and there same with the all other religions,” he said.
It is not fair or objective to attribute crimes and terrorist attacks of certain Muslims to Islam, he noted.
The ISESCO director general went on to add that Islam is a religion of peace, knowledge and tolerance of respecting the diversity. “We condemn strongly what happened in Paris as we condemn what is happening in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Terrorism is terrorism it has nothing to do with religion,” he said.
