There are close and productive relations between ISESCO and Azerbaijan which have jointly organized a number of events so far with the support of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the director general said.
He said ISESCO held various events over a decade. “Holding the general conference of ISESCO in this beautiful country is an indication of excellent relations of the organization with Azerbaijan,” he noted.
Altwaijri also expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for holding the 36th session of the ISESCO Executive Council.
“Our positions have strengthened and we should further strengthen them. The preparation for a new action plan was launched at the session of ISESCO Executive Council. We will also review budget issues in this regard. We are at the beginning of a new stage and strengthening our positions. We perceive our great duties and responsibility. We should serve the Islamic ummah and achieve development strengthening education and expanding scientific researches,” he added.
