Report: one killed in gunfight in France
A customs officer was killed and two police officers were wounded Nov. 23 during a gunfight in the Saint Jean du Var region of Toulon, near Marseille, the Mirror reported citing the French media.
The incident occurred when officers carried out a raid to target arms traffickers, according to the report.

The incident comes over a week after a series of terror attacks were perpetrated in Paris on Nov. 13.

Several terrorists opened fire in a restaurant in the 10th arrondissement in Paris, and three explosions occurred near the Stade de France, where President Francois Hollande was watching a friendly soccer match between France and Germany.

Another attack was carried out in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, where terrorists took hostages in Bataclan Theatre. The attacks killed 130 people.
