The problem related to Sarsang reservoir is one of the issues of concern of the Azerbaijani community, Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, Secretary General of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov told reporters on Nov.24.
Armenians, who attacked Azerbaijan and occupied 20 percent of the country’s territory, in other ways try to create problems for Azerbaijan, Ahmadov said.
“We are very concerned about the Sarsang problem,” the deputy PM said, not ruling out Armenian provocation against the reservoir.
Ahmadov called on international organizations to take measures to prevent the Armenian provocation. “I hope discussions on this matter will help uncover the truth,” he added.
On November 23, the PACE Committee on Social Affairs adopted the draft resolution on deliberate deprivation of Azerbaijani inhabitants living nearby Sarsang reservoir of water.
