President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed the 12th session of the General Conference of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in Baku on Nov.26.
The head of state then presented the Order of Friendship to ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri.
Addressing the conference, the ISESCO director general thanked President Aliyev for awarding him the highest state order of Azerbaijan.
Later on, the Nigerian representative was presented with ISESCO Literary Prize for 2015.

The 12th session of the General Conference of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has today started in Baku. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife, ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva are attending the session. The event kicked off with the recitation of verses from the Quran.
