He made the remarks on Thursday at the 12th session of the ISESCO General Conference in Baku.
Holding of the 12th session of the ISESCO General Conference in Baku is a significant event for Azerbaijan, the president said. “Up to now, Baku has hosted a number of significant events through ISESCO”.
ISESCO has become a significant organization in the world, according to the president.
In recent years, ISESCO has made great strides in the fields of science, education and culture, President Aliyev added.
