Ilham Aliyev to leave for Belarus
Azerbaijan and Belarus are expected to sign international documents.

On November 27-28, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay an official visit to Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian president reports.

Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan and Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus will hold meetings in narrow and expanded format.

The previous meeting was held in Baku, in June while Lukashenko paid a working visit to Azerbaijan on the eve of the first European Games. At the very meeting, Lukashenko highlighted the possibility developing relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus.

In his turn, Ilham Aliyev emphasized, regular contacts between the two countries create an opportunity to expand relations. In this manner, Azerbaijani President paid official visits to Belarus in 2006, 2009 and 2012. Furthermore, Lukashenko paid official visits to Azerbaijan in 2007, 2010 and 2013.

During the upcoming visit, Azerbaijani President will lay a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk and visit the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
