BTK project will soon be completed
Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey stand at a high level in all areas, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Friday at a press conference held after talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku.
Turkey and Azerbaijan is implementing a number of joint projects, Cavusoglu said, expressing hope that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) project will soon be completed.

“The project was delayed due to a legal problem of the Turkish company. The project will soon be completed,” he noted.

Turkey-Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan meeting didn’t take place in October, whereas it would take place in 2016, the FM said.

“Azerbaijan knows that we support it on every issue. We support Azerbaijan especially in the issues of Karabakh and the occupied lands of Azerbaijan. We wish new proposals to be formalized as the ones of the Minsk Group. We always support this process constructively. To make the Minsk Group become active, we are trying to stimulate its activities through constructive criticism,” he added.
