Azerbaijan will not participate in the OPEC meetings, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev said at the briefing today.
According to him, Azerbaijan several times participated in the OPEC meetings: “I think participation in the OPEC meetings is meaningless. No one listens to us there and we have not impact on any decision. At the end, a decision on increase or decrease of oil production quote is announced. Therefore, I attach no importance to the participation in these meetings. And I don’t expect any sensational decision will be passed there”.
