Azerbaijan, Turkish, Georgian FMs to meet by end of 2015

Azerbaijan, Turkish, Georgian FMs to meet by end of 2015

Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia have already agreed to hold another trilateral meeting by the end of 2015, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Friday at a press conference held after talks with his Turkish counterpart in Baku.

The Azerbaijani FM said the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway continues successfully.

“If the weather conditions are favorable, we will go to the construction site,” Mammadyarov said, expressing hope the BTK will be commissioned next year at least.

The FM further expressed confidence that the BTK will bring the Azerbaijani-Turkish cooperation to a new stage.
