Official Baku has agreed to hold a meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told at the meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

"Recently, the Russian foreign minister arrived in Baku, and then went to Yerevan. During the meeting it was proposed to drive the negotiations on Karabakh from the dead-lock," Elmar Mammadyarov said.

According to the Foreign Ministry, despite the fact that the Russian Foreign Minister visited Armenia alone, there were proposals from the OSCE Minsk Group.

"In general I can say that when the co-chairs last visited Azerbaijan, it was suggested to organize a meeting at the presidential level. The Azerbaijani side has given its consent. We offered to host this meeting at the end of next month. Now the co-chairs are working on it," Elmar Mammadyarov said.
