The letter of congratulation says:
"The people of Azerbaijan join me as I extend my sincere congratulations to you and the people of Mauritania on national holiday- the Independence Day. I am confident that we will further take efforts to strengthen our interstate relations, expand the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation between our countries. On this remarkable day I wish you a sound health, success in activity and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Mauritania," the letter says.
President Ilham Aliyev also congratulated President of Albania Bujar Nishani.
"The people of Azerbaijan join me as I extend my sincere congratulation to you and your people on the national holiday of Albania - Independence Day. I am sure that Azerbaijani-Albanian cooperation, especially in the energy sector, will further strengthen our bilateral relations and friendly ties," the letter says.
Ilham Aliyev wished a sound health, successes in activities to Bujar Nishani and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Albania.
