Combat readiness of Azerbaijani State Border Service checked
In accordance with combat readiness program of the State Border Service (SBS), the level of combat readiness of aviation units and quick reaction forces has been tested.

The SBS told APA that firstly, intelligence capabilities on specifying the place of conditional terrorist groups violating the state border and skills of deploying landing forces by helicopters were examined, parachute jumping of the landing forces were successfully carried out.

The quick reaction forces awakened with the command of “Alert” reached to the gathering points on time and immediately started the fulfillment of combat tasks. Shootings at targets from missiles operated from the helicopters were accurately fulfilled.

Combat readiness and firing capabilities of quick reaction forces in armored vehicles in difficult mountainous terrain, level of interaction between aviation units and quick reaction forces and their coordination were inspected. Aviation units conducted a variety of maneuvers, personnel demonstrated strict discipline and professionalism.

First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov and Azerbaijani State Border Service (SBS) Chief, Lieutenant-General Elchin Guliyev watched the inspection actions.

Combat readiness of the units was highly-assessed, additional instructions were given for execution of the orders and instructions of President of Azerbaijan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
