Report of Azerbaijani Commission on combating corruption
Anticorruption Commission of Azerbaijan made public its second Quarter Newsletter. The document includes measures implemented in the area of combating corruption during the second quarter of the year. AzVision.az heralds the very report by the Commission.

Information on the implementation of the Action Plan
During the last quarter, Anticorruption Commission made public report regarding implementation of National Action Plan on promoting Open Government for years of 2012-2013, which was adopted by 5th September 2012 dated decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The report prepared by the Commission indicates 64% fullcompletion status of the actions planned to be done in 2012-2013 of Action Plan. 22% of the measures in Action Plan are identified to be implemented in 2012, 33% of them in 2013, 27% of them in 2014 and the rest in 2015.
Commission, for the purpose of the assessment of Action Plan, used information provided by state authorities, news from media and researches, opinions and comments of civil society institutions. Fight Against Corruption: International Standards and National Experiences

An international conference on international standards and national experinces in the fight against corruption unveiled in Baku on 30 June - 1st July as a part of
Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

The conference was held by Azerbaijani Government in colloboration with CoE’s Group of States against corruption (GRECO) and International Anticorruption Academy (IACA).

Conference attended by more than 230 state and government officials, heads of specialized anti-corruption agencies and law-enforcement bodies, members of the Anti-Corruption Commission and civil society institutions from 35 countries and 13 international organizations.

In the framework of the conference cooperation perspectives have been discussed between Anticorruption Directorate, Anticorruption Commission and foreign respective authorities.
Commission, for the purpose of enlightening public, has opened twitter page on social network and created the electronic page of Commission in azeri and english languages on Wikipedia which is the well-known electronic library.

The official web page of the Commission, www.antikorrupsiya.gov.az has been improved and legislative section of site fully updated in azeri and english languages. The composition of the working group on improving of the legislation, which functions under the Anticorruption Commission has been updated. The information on composition of working group could be found from the web page of the Commission.

Commission has prepared booklets in azeri, russian and english languages regarding its activities and disseminated them between civil society institutions and public.

The history, structure and objective of the Commission, carried out institutional and legislative reforms in the field of fighting against corruption and information on international cooperation have been noted in the booklets.
