Cattle to be vaccinated in Azerbaijan

Cattle to be vaccinated in Azerbaijan

The State Veterinary Control Service under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture started a preventive vaccination of cattle against the foot and mouth disease to ensure the stable epizootic situation in Azerbaijan, Yolchu Khanveli, the spokesman for the State Veterinary Control Service, told on Dec. 2.

He said that the vaccination of cattle will be carried out primarily in the border areas, and then in all other regions of the country.

He said that currently, the epizootic situation in Azerbaijan is stable.

The vaccination is carried out according to a plan of measures against epizootic diseases and in accordance with the requirements of the International Epizootic Bureau.
