We need to work with the European Parliament. Thus, it is a body of the European Union, said Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev.
`The European Parliament decided not to take part in the Euronest anymore. “However, we cannot say that all in the European Parliament voted for the anti-Azerbaijan resolution. All members of the largest party European People`s Party voted against the resolution. More than 300 parliamentarians of over 700 voted in favor of it`, he said.
“It is wrong to say that the European Parliament is entirely against Azerbaijan. “We have an interparliamentary cooperation group, which hasn’t held a meeting for a while. We have suspended cooperation mechanisms after the resolution. However, it is our work. We can only put forward a recommendation”, said the Deputy FM.
