Serviceman of the Azerbaijani Army, ensign Fariz Novruzov has been killed on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian armies, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told on Dec.3.
The Military Prosecutor’s Office has been instructed to investigate the fact, said the ministry. “The investigation revealed that Novruzov was killed after Armenian armed forces opened fire on the Azerbaijani Army positions," the ministry noted.
The Defense Ministry`s leadership extends deepest condolences to the martyr’s family and close ones.
The ministry states that Armenia is trying to escalate the situation even further in order to use the complicated military-political situation in the region to their advantage.
Necessary actions will be taken for the Armed Forces to intercept the enemy’s attempts and to revenge for the martyrs’ blood.
