Nearly 120 unexploded ordnance defused in Azerbaijan in Nov.
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) defused 5,032,184 square meters of the country
ANAMA detected and defused 118 unexploded ordnance (UXOs) in November.

Some 488 sappers, 112 assistants, six mechanical mine clearing machines and 36 mine-detection dogs are involved in mine clearing operations.

As much as 314,455,648 square metres of land have been cleared of mines so far and the number of defused landmines and UXOs amounted to 713,895.

ANAMA continues its operations in the Agjabadi, Agstafa, Fuzuli, Ganja, Goygol, Khojavand, Lankaran, Absheron, Gazakh, Terter districts of Azerbaijan.

No cases of ammunition explosion were registered in November 2015, ANAMA said.
